Hospitals
Our care and clinical services are delivered across our three acute hospitals and seven community hospitals in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. We are a large NHS teaching trust providing integrated patient care.
-
Leicester Royal Infirmary
The Leicester Royal Infirmary is our largest hospital, based in the heart of the city, providing Leicestershire's only accident and emergency service and intensive care unit.
-
Glenfield Hospital
The Glenfield Hospital is situated northwest of the city centre and provides a range of services for patients, including nationally recognised medical care for heart disease, lung cancer, and breast care.
-
Leicester General Hospital
The Leicester General Hospital to the east of the city specialises in renal care, diabetes research, urology, brain injuries, and treatment for disabled children.
-
East Midlands Planned Care Centre
The East Midlands Planned Care Centre is a state-of-the-art facility designed to help reduce the number of patients waiting for appointments and treatment.
-
Leicester Children's Hospital
The Leicester Children's Hospital provides care for a range of conditions from surgery and cancer to emergencies and broken bones.
-
Urgent treatment centres
Urgent treatment centres can diagnose and deal with medical help for urgent, but not life-threatening, conditions.
-
Our future hospitals
We are transforming care for people in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, and beyond, to meet the changing needs of the communities we serve.
